Breaks are good. This week was the start of the summer quarter at De Anza, and the spring quarter just ended the week before, so there was no break in between them. But I took one anyway. :) I took the opportunity to visit
Misha Klein, a great animator and fellow stop-mo blogger. He showed me some great footage and sets, and we talked about all the fun stuff about making your own stop-mo film. Thanks, Misha!

So as far as making-of this week: I unintentionally ran across some great real-life lightning reference just this morning while checking the blogs for updates!

liquidy bolts. I was happy to see them because I would like to have 2-D animated lightning for my Time Machine and assumed it would have to be an imaginary whispy electric stream that would gently move around the machine's electrodes. But here it is! A real-life example of it.
