The Green Machine!

Spotted (!) on the road today: my wheels from high school, the ol' mint green '67 VW Bug!

Changes I noticed:

• Luggage rack added. (Looks good!)
• Glass packs replaced with the old-fashioned stock type 2-pipe muffler. (Also looks good! But I could still see where the glass packs made tiny little cracks in the body. Ahhh, the memories.)
• Black hood-bra added.
• A baby car seat! *Sniff* My little bug is all grown up.

Things that stayed the same:

• Bubble-hubs!
• The paint job! (Yay, mint! With just a hint of fading on top.)
• Still lowered!
• Front and rear bumpers...
• And last but not least, same license plate!

Ahh, good times.

Personal Learner

So I've taken my first tentative steps into this newfangled "computer graphics." You see, I've downloaded this "software" off the "interweb" and started "animating." It's "fun" and "exciting"! I think I'm getting the hang of it. So far it's like animating underwater, but there a lot of controls you can fine tune with... what am I saying, practically everybody knows this stuff already! All I can say is that the part of my brain that grew up using computers is thrilled.

Dogwood in Bloom

Peets Doodles

Our store has been given the nickname by our manager: "Pinnacle of the Peninsula." So I thought it should have a mascot:

And if Peet's Coffee And Tea ever had a creepy 70's TV show, this would be the main character, "H.R. Peets-n-Things":
