It is slow, but I really like where it is going, which is I think a good thing.

Well, that's all the updating I can think of right now. Maybe I'll post before the New Year. I just got home from my first day working at a certain Emeryville-based company that starts with a P. No, not that one. Peet's! But they do share a lot of similarities with Pixar. Not the least of which is providing the best product in their respective fields. And apparently they are right down the street from one another! Cool.

So, of course, Peet's is awesome. I grew up knowing that Peet's is the finest, and so far it is holding very true. I even got to do some tasting today on my first day, and every coffee was a delight, there is an incredible spectrum of flavor at Peet's. I go in again tomorrow at the Los Altos store. Looking forward to it!

And just to let everyone know, yes, I'm quitting the Roasted Coffee Bean. But who knows? I've quit there many times, and this will probably be my last. But the folks there are great and you never know when I job at the Bean will come in handy.

Much more is happening right now, especially in the area of Time and Time Again, but I will go into that more when things settle down. (Here's a hint: Production is moving out of the De Anza!)

SWgeek

I must be a Star Wars geek. The last two artistic projects I've done (outside of my film project) have been Star Wars related.

This origami Yoda was from boingboing.net! I can't get over how cool it is that you can just simply fold a Yoda action figure! Awesome!

Then this is the board at the Roasted Coffee Bean right now. It's getting a lot more attention than my other boards have! It's probably the Star Wars theme. I'm almost sure the "Classic Sci-Fi" board didn't get this much attention.

That's Doug, an RCB regular and classic rock fan. The films were all great this year, I gotta say. Although nothing of mine was shown, it was great to see everybody's work from the past year. An impressive bunch, these De Anzans! As a added bonus, I was honored to recieve the "Chadwick S. Okamoto Animation Media Award"! Run out and get it! Oh and that band Coldplay has a new album. Haven't made up my mind yet whether to buy it. I'm listening to their "Coldplayer" on their website. Could be good, could be eh. But the album to get Tuesday is CHARGE! by the one and only Aquabats. And save the date: July 19, 2005. That's when the always memorable live act that is the Aquabats come to Slims in San Francisco.
